In the near run, you will save the most on interest if you use a card with an introductory period of 0% APR. Search for one that offers a no-interest introductory term lasting more than a year. If you have a pattern of carrying a load from month to month, you will benefit long-term by using a credit card low interest.

BankAmericard® credit card

Those who want to begin their credit history with one of the longest interest-free periods offered anywhere may find the BankAmericard® credit card an excellent choice. A 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first 21 billing cycles and a 0% introductory APR on balance transfers for the first 21 billing cycles for any balance transfers done during the first 60 days, followed by an ongoing APR of 15.74%-25.74% Variable APR. There are no continuing benefits for using this card.

  • A purchase interest rate of 0% for the first 21 billing cycles and any balance transfers made during the first 60 days of opening the account. When the introductory APR promotion expires, a variable APR ranging from 15.74% to 25.74% will take effect. All balance transfers are subject to a 3% charge.
  • There is no yearly cost.
  • There is no penalty APR. Your interest rate won't immediately increase if you pay late (APR). Additional account fees and conditions apply.

Wells Fargo Reflect® Card

If you can make your monthly payments on schedule, the introductory period of 0% APR with the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card may last as long as two years. A promotional window like this one is rare, if not nonexistent, on credit cards. You will get a 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first 21 months and a 0% on balance transfers for the first 21 months from the day your account was opened. After that, your continuing APR will range from 17.74% to 29.74% variable. Except for having the option to participate in one-time deals made available via My Wells Fargo Offers, you will not be eligible to receive continuing incentives.

  • 0% introductory APR on purchases and qualified balance transfers for the first 18 months after account creation. With on-time minimum payments made throughout the introductory period, the introductory APR will be extended for three months. Balance transfers done during the first 120 days of account opening are eligible for the introductory rate and charge of 3%, followed by a BT fee of up to 5%, with a minimum price of $5. The variable APR ranges from 17.74% to 29.74% after that.
  • When you pay your monthly mobile phone bill with an eligible Wells Fargo card, you can get up to $600 in cell phone insurance against damage or theft. This protection is subject to a $25 deductible, however.

Chase Freedom Unlimited®
